SOAP – Só Apresentações Lda (hereinafter referred to as "SOAP") is a company specializing in marketing consultancy, presentations, events, and training. This document aims to present the set of values and principles that should guide all individuals who are part of the SOAP universe.

At SOAP, we believe that everyone has the potential to be an excellent communicator and that every presentation can be transformed into something truly exceptional. We work through a process that enables our clients to engage, inform, and inspire their audiences.

We strive for maximum efficiency in all our business areas and aim to earn the loyalty and complete satisfaction of our clients. We are demanding with what we do and how we do it, and we are committed to meeting the legitimate interests of our clients and employees.

We comply with our legal obligations and adopt standards of conduct that allow us to put our principles and values into practice, acting with integrity, loyalty, and ethics. This commitment is reflected in our strong working relationships and cohesive teams.

We are all responsible for complying with this Code of Conduct and for promoting a culture of integrity across the company, with the goal of strengthening our position as a solid, transparent, and cohesive organization.

1. Compliance with the Law and Human Rights

All our actions must comply with applicable laws in Portugal and the European Union, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and relevant international treaties.

2. Independence from Political Parties

SOAP does not support political parties or their representatives, nor does it make financial contributions to groups supporting partisan interests.

3. Honesty and Integrity

We conduct our activities with honesty, rigor, and integrity. We do not offer or accept bribes or any other improper advantages, directly or indirectly.

4. Corporate Social Responsibility

SOAP manages its business by balancing economic prosperity with active contributions to social development and environmental preservation. We act according to three core principles:

  • Respect for the Environment: We conduct our business consciously and sustainably, minimizing environmental impact and promoting reduction, reuse, and recycling of waste.
  • Support for Local Communities: Through social responsibility and pro bono initiatives, we provide services to institutions and projects with a positive social impact.
  • Being an Employer of Choice: We promote safety, health, well-being, trust, autonomy, and flexibility, developing initiatives that meet the needs and expectations of our employees.

5. Our Employees

We ensure a healthy and motivating work environment, encouraging personal and professional development through technical and behavioral training. We guarantee fair remuneration, equal opportunities, and career progression based on merit, regardless of gender, age, religion, nationality, or personal background.

We prohibit any form of harassment, bullying, or discrimination and promote a culture of risk prevention in the workplace. We respect freedom of association and the right to privacy and confidentiality regarding personal and health data.

6. Ethics in Organizational Relationships

  • Confidentiality: All employees must maintain confidentiality regarding company and client information, following internal security and "clean desk" policies.
  • Conflict of Interest: Employees must avoid participating in projects where personal or professional relationships could compromise impartiality.
  • Gifts and Offers: Employees must not accept gifts, benefits, or advantages exceeding €150, except symbolic or occasional gifts. All offers must be reported to the Compliance team.
  • Duty of Reporting: Any offer or potentially irregular situation must be reported within 10 days to the Compliance team, which will maintain a record.

7. Corruption and Non-Compliance

All employees must act prudently and report any suspected behavior involving fraud, insider trading, or corruption to the Compliance team via denuncias@soappresentations.com, or, where applicable, to the competent authorities.

Good-faith reporting shall not result in retaliation of any kind. The Compliance team is responsible for investigating and formally reporting substantiated cases to the relevant authorities, in line with the company's Risk Prevention Plan for Corruption and Related Offenses.

8. Confidentiality and Best Practices

Employees must not disclose any information about SOAP, its clients, or project content. Company IT and electronic systems must be used responsibly and securely, and the sharing of illegal or inappropriate content is strictly prohibited.

9. Exclusivity

All employees are subject to SOAP's exclusivity policy and may not engage in professional activities with competing companies. Employees must avoid any external activity that could compromise their performance or the integrity of the company.
